Hello

          My name is Preston, and I'm currently a student at the University of Alabama. I have always lived in Alabama, so I hoped to go to a different state or country for school, but since I'm not completely sure how to forward my studies in a way that most reflects how I want my future to look, I decided to attend UA for their tremendous scholarships. As a computer science student, I'm constantly learning and growing in my field. However, I'm also passionate about the arts, which funnily enough throws people off considering how different my interests are, but I think they make me who I am. I love photography, acting, music, and almost anything that allows us to express ourselves non-conventionally. I've had the opportunity to perform in a variety of settings, from local theaters to concert halls, as an actor and classical pianist. In addition to my love for the arts, I'm also proficient in Spanish, and I lived with a Peruvian woman who I'm as close to as my own mother for a large part of my childhood due to our frequent visits to the country for medical mission work. Being bilingual has opened up many doors for me, whether I'm traveling abroad or simply communicating with Spanish-speaking friends and colleagues. I'm always grateful for the ability to connect with others in their native language.
